CASE HISTORY:
Scrooge McDuck first came to the attention of Duckburg PD due some improperly-completed IRS audit forms in 2002. McDuck listed his occupation as “Treasure Hunter/Businessman”, but Duckburg city records indicate he hasn’t legitimately imported any foreign items since 1996. Surveillance ops managed to catch suspicious activity at the McDuck estate and McDuck’s Money Bin, generating enough probable cause to justify wiretap use.
It appears the McDuck organization is now the largest illegal purveyor and supplier of smuggled treasure in all of Duckton. Wiretaps show that McDuck has managed to quell old feuds, and now controls the entire smuggling racket, from Duckburg proper all the way to North Duckota.
West Duckburg detective Jimmy Quackerly and his detail were responsible for a major break in the case when he was able to successfully crack the telephone code the McDuck organization uses for their illicit dealings. The following information on the McDuck organization is entirely due to Quackerly’s major case unit.
THE MCDUCK ORGANIZATION
Leadership: ‘UNCA’ SCROOGE MCDUCK
Born in Duck-Scotland, Scrooge McDuck came over to Duckmerica at a young age, and rapidly began acquiring massive wealth (at this point through legal means). He appears to have grown weary of the bureaucratic red tape required for every procurement, and has turned to criminal smuggling in recent years.
Second-in-command: HUEY DUCK
Adopted by Scrooge at age ten along with his brothers, Huey rapidly rose through the ranks of the organization. A ruthless and calculating lieutenant, Huey was the main suspect in the takeover and resultant murders of the then-rival Beagle organization two years ago. Also a main suspect in the murder of Mrs. Beakley, who was at the time a Duckburg PD confidential informant. His brothers Dewey and Louie are now in protective custody, fearing reprisal from their murderous sibling.
Known Enforcers: LAUNCHPAD MCQUACK
Long a staunch ally of McDuck, Launchpad McQuack has had a storied history, even going through a stint in law enforcement before settling into his current employment as muscle for the McDuck organization. Originally a self-styled adventurer and duck of the world, Launchpad has since reinvented himself as a cold-blooded killer in the employ of McDuck. Suspected for the Murder of rival Ma Beagle. UPDATE: Killed while attempting a hit on Flintheart Glomgold.
Street Dealers: BOUNCER BEAGLE, BIGTIME BEAGLE, BURGER BEAGLE
The only three remaining Beagle brothers after the McDuck attack on the Beagle compound. These three now function as street-level relic dealers within the McDuck organization.

- MCDUCK: Och, laddie! I’ve got a bead on a real prize!
- HUEY: Unca, it’s time we had a talk. I think the mansion’s under police watch. We might have a leak.
- MCDUCK: Take care of it, m’boy. Use Launchpad, that’s why we pay ‘im. Remember Beakley.
- HUEY: Yes, Unca.
- MCDUCK: And then we’re off to the pyramids tomorrow, to search for the fabled Mummy’s Pearl!

- MCDUCK: Och, it be high time for it, Launchpad.
- LAUNCHPAD: I ‘unno, Mac-D! You sure?
- MCDUCK: Kill him!
- LAUNCHPAD: You got it, Mac!
- MCDUCK: Take Huey along. It’s high time that boy learned what we do!
- LAUNCHPAD: I ‘unno, Mac-D! You sure?

- MCDUCK: What is it, laddie? Why so glum?
- LOUIE: Launchpad…he’s dead! (sobs)
- MCDUCK: Calm down, sonny! Now, tell your dear uncle everything!

Unknown. After the death of his enforcer, Scrooge fled his estate during a stakeout team shift change. If McDuck is in failing health as suspected, he could be under the care of Webbigail “Webby” Vanderquack.
