In response to our hyper-accelerated culture, the American Sign Language Federation has deemed it necessary to design and propagate several new signs for the speech- and hearing-impaired to use in their daily lives. Here is a sample of several of the new signs, many of which are absolutely imperative to interact successfully with others in the 21st century.

ahahahha that’s what my friend said about vampire weekend. Then she showed me their song from the Juno soundtrack and I was confused. do people actually like this? is this supposed to be taken seriously, i thought. who writes this chit? am I supposed to like this ironically? damnit. not sure which option to go with, I just grinned and waited it out. then some other baby-babbling indie Juno song came on and so I repeated my previous procedure, with a little more pain in my smile.
