Someone in my family has been in the hospital, and to while away the hours spent visiting him, I decided to review all of the options at the Toronto General Hospital food court. Bon appetit!
Liver King
Pros: Prices aren’t hard on the wallet, and over ten liver-based items to feed any craving you have, as long as you’re craving liver.
Cons: Their “trademark” liver and onions meal deal was a bit dry.

Mr. Liver
Pros: Mr. Liver’s delicious barbecued liver sandwich is enough to have you coming back for more.
Cons: Their breakfast menu (with the fantastic liver breakfast burrito) disappears at only 10:00 am.

Lottaliver
Pros: Plentiful serving sizes, and the Lottaliver Lottavalue menu has a tasty and cost-effective chopped liver spread.
Cons: Cash only; counter help became rude and belligerent when asked if they served anything other than liver.

Jean’s Healthy Choice
Pros: Menu offers a slew of salads and soups designed to please both tastebuds and waistlines.
Cons: Is no longer open for business. Kiosk appeared to have been firebombed, with threatening note staked to the counter advising Jean to “stay out of Livertown”.

The Liverworks
Pros: The liver is excellent.
Cons: Only available beverage is “liver juice”.

Arby’s
Pros: None.
Cons: Is Arby’s.

The TGH food court is definitely worth visiting for a hearty meal or just a quick bite! Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go die.
